NINGALOO ADVENTURE (WHALE SHARKS OR HUMPBACK WHALES)

About the day:

Your full-day adventure begins at 7:15am when you meet at our shop for check-in and gear collection. We’ll provide everything you need for the day, including snorkelling equipment and wetsuits, before making our way to the jetty where your vessel awaits.

Our first stop is a guided snorkel on the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef. Here you’ll drift over colourful coral gardens alive with reef fish, graceful turtles, curious reef sharks, and gliding stingrays — a perfect introduction to the wonders of this pristine ecosystem.

After morning tea on board, it’s time to head out beyond the reef in search of the day’s main encounter. With the help of our spotter plane, we’ll locate either whale sharks or humpback whales — depending on which species is most suitable to swim with. Once we’re in position, you’ll have the rare chance to enter the water and witness these gentle giants up close, an awe-inspiring moment that will stay with you forever.

Back on board, enjoy a freshly prepared buffet lunch as we cruise the turquoise waters of Ningaloo. In the afternoon, we’ll stop for another snorkel at a new site. This may be another coral-rich reef or, if conditions allow, a chance to encounter majestic manta rays as they glide effortlessly through the water.

Throughout the day, you’ll be looked after by our passionate and experienced crew, who are dedicated to your safety, comfort, and creating the best possible wildlife encounters. This tour offers a full day of adventure, combining world-class snorkelling with the unforgettable opportunity to swim alongside whale sharks or humpback whales in their natural environment.

• A knowledgeable and passionate crew is composed of rescue divers, dive masters and/or instructors

Additional Information:

Please keep in mind that our dealing with wild animals in their natural environment are not predictable. Our commitment to you is that our crew will make every possible effort to ensure that you have the best experience possible, however we can not guarantee that we will see all or any of the wildlife mentioned. In the event that we cannot swim with whale sharks or humpback whales no repeat vouchers, refunds or credits are offered.

IMPORTANT: 

This tour is recommended for experienced snorkellers only. If your snorkelling ability is not at a satisfactory or safe standard during the morning snorkel you may not be permitted to partake in in-water humpback whale interactions, if this is the case a refund of the difference between "Swimmer" and "Observer" will be issued. Any/all children attending this tour must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, both in water and onboard the vessel. Please advise us of any relevant medical conditions, or dietary requirements.

Participant age definitions:

Adults - Ages 17 & older

Children - Ages 5-16 (Swimming with whale sharks or humpback whales)

Infant - Ages 0-5 (NOT swimming with whale sharks or humpback whales)

Observer - any age
